Boots Today While Heart is Torn

I regret that I do not have much time to write a blog post — my spouse had a really bad day yesterday, and once again, I poured myself into my caregiving role.

This morning at oh-dark-30, he is sleeping well and I have to go to work. I have a major meeting with the boss’ boss today that I can’t miss. This tug-o-heart between working at a job that I am passionate about and caring for my spouse who remains quite ill is awful, but I soldier on.

My spouse knows how torn I am, so a few days ago, he presented me with a gift — yeah, boots — Tony Lama Signature Series

Boots of the Past Week

A mid-June week in the Northern Hemisphere, with our first “heat wave” (albeit 2.5 days), and the HHH has returned to the Worshinun arear (pronounced air-eee-ur). Gotta get the local vernacular right, right cheer in Worshinun. (If you’re not sure what I’m saying, go ax a local.)
