I have not been amused… for several years now… that boot manufacturers decided to give names to their boots that are truly meaningless. “Dean, Clayton, Wyatt, Landon, Rutmann, Lor, Devin, Brady, Billy, Rootytootytootoo…” whatever, you look hard enough, you can probably find a boot by whatever name you want.
I have been asked about boots under the brand name “JB Dillon” for several years, and all of my internet sleuthing results continued to point to cowboy boot sales by a company called “Rick’s Ranchwear” with no additional information. No website (in the past) other than “Two Free Boots” retail stores in Ohio, Tennessee, Florida, and Nevada.
I have news which may be shocking for some readers.
I have blogged a lot about boots and the quality of materials from which they are made as well as quality of craftsmanship in construction.
For a long, long time, I have had my eye on harness boots made by White’s Boots. After a somewhat difficult adjustment to their engineer style “Nomad” boots, I was uncertain how the harness boots would fit or feel.
Yay… I’ve circled the sun one more time as of today. Best yet: Spouse baked me my favorite cake!
