Today, June 20, in the 25th annual “Ride To Work Day” where riding a motorcycle to work is promoted (unlike the tongue-in-cheek “Ride Your Bike To Work” day on 21 May intended for bicycles but I rode my Harley instead.) Today, my Harley and I are…

Boot Reviews
Over the years, I have purchased, worn, tried, and/or read about many different brands of boots. I have received a number of email messages asking me for opinions on this-or-that brand of boots, or from people who have said that my website or this blog helped them as they did research about boots.

The discomfort of the broken ribs is slowly, very slowly, changing from…

My Crash Was Not An Accident
I sincerely appreciate the overwhelming support from my family, friends, and loyal blog readers wishing me well after I reported that I crashed my beloved Harley during my clear-dry-day commute to work on Tuesday, May 31, and broke 3 ribs as a result.
Many of those who reached out to me referred to this unfortunate mishap as an “accident.” Nope, it really was a crash and this is why…

Recovery Continues
I really do not have much to say, but since my posts on this blog have been infrequent, I thought I would acknowledge the slow progress toward recovery from my recent injuries, as well as a few other observations….
