Justinbrowndistressed03Someone contacted me recently to invite me to participate in a formal auction of celebrity memorabilia, including some cowboy boots worn by some stars (I’ve never heard of) who have appeared in movies. He found me by using an internet search engine and looking for results on “vintage cowboy boot collector.”

Imagine that? Search engines point to my website when searching for that phrase.

I also searched that phrase, and reaffirmed my personal thoughts that there are two types of boot collectors.

Boots Instead of Shoes Research

I received an email from a graduate student who is studying psychology at a university in Houston, Texas. His question was, “what do you think it means if a guy wears boots all the time instead of dress shoes?” He explained that he is doing research for his doctorate which was looking at choices of clothing that people make. He said that my website came up first, second, or third, on several entries with similar questions on search engines.
