I really do not understand why so many people search the internet with questions like this one: “can you wear black boots with jeans” or “can you wear black cowboy boots with Wranglers” or “can you wear black boots with Levis?”

Answer:

YES! You CAN! And you should! Black is the most common color of cowboy boots (and motorcycle boots, too.) It is a very classic color that goes with everything from blue jeans to a tuxedo, business suit, or khakis for business casual attire.

Many men would like to wear boots, but feel odd or funny about doing so for various reasons. “I don’t want to have what’s on my feet be a topic of conversation.” Or, “men in my office wear dress shoes–not boots.” Or, “black boots are too much of a contrast.”

These are rather flimsy excuses indicating, in my opinion, too much concern with what other people think. My opinion? Pull your boots on, stand tall, smile, and be a confident guy in boots.
