I said in a post on March 26 that I had lost my mind, but only in the sense that I had bought another house that had gone up for sale by auction. The previous owner had died without a will and the local government auctioned it pretty much for settlement of back taxes and accumulated fees. (Trust me — a LOT of taxes and fees accumulated!)

Usually on Saturday evenings, I settle down with the Spouse and relax. We never go out any more. With his ongoing painful legacy of the long-term illness that he suffered through for three years, he can’t manage going out and he does not have the energy for it.
I am the spouse of this blog’s author. I have a name, a real one, but like my spouse, I just go by affectionate initials he calls me — BB. So, upon request, here is a glimpse of the day-to-day life of my spouse who his twin brother calls Taz (known for his spinning energy in old Bugs Bunny cartoons.)
One of my longest-held gripes about working full-time is that “they” have it all backwards. We should work two days and have five days for weekends. (LOL).
This is a sad note about a fond friend’s passing. My heart is hurting and I am sad, but such is the situation when you look after LOLITS. Here’s what happened and why I am grieving…
Alas, the usual situation of being at odds with the spouse is upon me again. Within the last few days, I have received three pleasant introductions from guys visiting the area where I live (two for MAL this weekend and one coming to DC in a couple weeks) asking if they can come visit, have a bite, and see the boot collection.
