Yesterday morning, I woke up feeling crappy, as if a cold were about to take hold. I know how it feels and really thought that I was in for rough times ahead and feeling crappy for several days. Worse — keeping distance from my spouse.
However, I am cured as I write this post in the evening. How did I get well so fast?
I have great faith in home-made chicken soup. I have an uncle who was known for his chicken soup. It is a favorite of the whole family, and loving thoughts of carefree days of our childhood with this uncle fill my soul.
I have my uncle’s chicken soup recipe, and spent all afternoon making it. I ate a portion and within an hour, my head had cleared and I felt a lot better.
Today, I’m over it. And this is where I will be going:
