I am pleased to see three millennial-led boot companies marketing their boots on social media, where many younger people see their advertising. The following ads caught my eye:
Ranch Road Boots (though this trend of rolling up the bottom of jeans still looks really dorky to me)
I like a Ranch Road Boots marketing video a lot, and I complimented Sarah Ford (company owner) on its candor and down-home humility:
Sarah Ford’s reply to my email:
It’s really an honor to have you as a fan. I appreciate your taking the time to write this email, it means a lot (and appreciate your sharing the video 🙂 )
Tecovas Boots (might even be better showing their boots with dress slacks for the “dump the dress shoes” message, but this classic “boots & jeans” image will suffice quite well)

Note: this is not a comment or statement about the sexual orientation of the men shown in this photo.
I have also seen a lot of promotion of boots by Wilcox on social media. About average ads and just about the same thing that hasn’t changed since I first became aware of these boots. I’m not real thrilled with their boots, but I appreciate again that a millennial couple has started a boot company.
Life is short: admire well-developed boot ads.
