Damn WordPress… the engine that powers this blog.  The kiddies who write code for it decided it would be great to foist a major change to how the backend editor (how the blog is written) operates, and …

…drive us old codgers absolutely crazy trying to figure out how to use it.  They made MAJOR changes for how to write content for the blog and add images, etc.  I can’t even find the “more” setting, which powers the simple “after the jump” setting that I use in all of my posts.

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!  I HATE WORDPRESS 5.0!  HATE IT!

I know, hate is a very powerful word, but it applies with this forced update.  ACCCKKKK!

Why oh why can’t those kiddies who write this stuff (operating system code) leave things that work well alone?  Why do their ilk go changing websites all over and make them LESS user-friendly and more difficult to navigate?  Why why why???

I understand the need for security patches and upgrades, but not the editor. Oh please, not the editor!

This new system is absolutely AWFUL!

Now I have to waste hours that I do not have trying to figure out how to downgrade to a previous version that worked for me.

Meanwhile, until I figure out how to return my blog’s editor back to how it used to be, the blog will unfortunately have to go on hold.
