This photo is of a group of some of my male cousins who were lining up, holding their children, before going into church. Arrgggh!

From left to right:
Shorts/sneakers
Dress shoes (ignore the child’s feet)
Dress shoes
Flip flops
Flip flops
Dress shoes
Boat shoes
Casual shoes

Okay, I understand the dress shoes bit… those guys were wearing shirt-and-tie. But the flip flops (with shorts?) Sneakers (with shorts?) Blecch and double-blecch.

I have a lot of work to do with this family….

Remember: sneakers are for the gym, and flip-flops are for the trash. No rational adult male should ever wear flip-flops in public. Beach wear is for the beach, not for church!

Okay, rant over.

Life is short: wear boots and dress nicely for church (okay, tie optional, but no sneakers, boat shoes, or flip-flops)!
