Finally… after a typical brutally hot summer, we finally saw the heat break right at the start of Autumn. This morning, it was a leather-perfect 46F (8C) at my favorite time of day… dawn.

I was waiting for this day to come for a while so I could “leather up” once again.

I am not attending any leather-oriented events, such as the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco. That type of thing is far in my past.

But I still enjoy leather and with a closet-full of gear, now that it is appropriately cooler, my favorite combination of gear came on.

What’s my current favorite gear?

I like long-sleeved leather shirts, especially those I have had modified with an inside zipper to hold it closed. This is important when I wear it while riding my Harley, or wear it when engaging in active… wait! I don’t do “active” (or passive for that matter), but it would hold on IF I did. (wink).

While I own and wear black leather shirts, I also enjoy colorful leather, like my blue police-style leather shirt with black cuffs that I had made by Northbound Leather of Toronto.

I also like my fetish blue-striped leather jeans. They fit very well and feel great with leather-against-skin.

Top it off with full leather accessories: leather tie, new vest, Muir Cap, tight leather gloves, Sam Browne Belt, and black boots (of course!)
