Aloha!

Our second post-retirement adventure has begun. Spouse and I arrived…

…in Honolulu, Hawaii, after two six-hour flights.

We cleaned, sanitized, and washed our hands until no germs could survive. 🙂

First class upgrade (thanks to being a two-million miler) made the flights comfortable. The food was much too fancy though. Spouse thinks that is due to influence of the Food Network on “chefs” preparing all this froo-froo stuff that just doesn’t work for us. (And most of the first class cabin — I saw many plates returned with lots of Sasquatch Succotash uneaten.)

I really shouldn’t complain. We were comfortable and got here on time and safely.

BTW — the little frog in my seat in the photo is our coqui who is our travel guide to tropical islands. He is trilingual — Spanish (his first language, because I got him in Puerto Rico 25 years ago), English, and Hawaiian.

Jet lag is a bitch… woke at 2am, which is 7am my time, and tossed & turned until 5am, when I finally “had it” and went out for a walk. Caught this photo of the full worm moon over Waikiki. (I have no idea where a bus brought me to get this.)Life is short: travel well!
