From time to time, I look at what phrases entered into search engines drove people to visit this blog. Following are some of the most amusing (to me) recent searches I have seen:
Honestly, I am not making any of these up.
1. what to do to keep my cowboy boots from chafing my cat
Well, don’t let your cat wear boots.
2. can I wear blond hair with black cowboy hat with brown boots
No, you must have red hair to pull off that combination of colors.
3. Put some cape on bottom of cowboy boots
No, sorry… I don’t recommend wearing a cape on the bottom of cowboy boots. Doing so would make it all too easy to trip!
4. Why do I lose socks in the dryer only when I wear boots?
Next time you’re in the dryer, try going barefoot.
5. can I wear cowboy boots outside?
Simple answer: yes you can.
6. is black boot only on Friday?
No, you can wear black boots any day of the week.
7. does wearing leather make you smell like a cow?
No… I can attest, wearing leather does not make you smell like a cow (unless you forget to bathe.)
8. Can Americans wear Canadian Police Boots?
As a matter of fact, yes.
9. (Contrast with): Can Canadians wear boots worn by U.S. cops?
Yes again!
10. Do hornback boots have horns?
No, you have to yell since caiman (or alligator) hornback boots do not come equipped with a horn.
Life is short: regardless of how you may (or may not) smell, wear leather and boots.
Thanks, BHD. I needed that today! ROFL.
