Deep Well of Inner Strength

Greetings from Pittsburgh where my boots have taken me once again…

…to tend to my 88-year-old mother-in-law.

I am wearing good ol’ comfy brown Chippewa harness boots with denim jeans and t-shirts of summer. It is pleasant and dry outside, though I was confined to a cage to get us here and much of my indoor work is in a house with drawn drapes so it is dark and just sad… 🙁

My spouse decided at the last minute to come with me, and I am grateful for his company. It is a long and tiring five-hour drive. But there is no time to be tired — lots of things to do reddin’ up da place (aka “outdoor yard work”), cleaning the house, grocery shopping, cooking, and other fun things.

Oh joy… doing what a guy has to do, drawing on a deep well of inner strength, because:

Life is short: show those you love how you love them.
