All boots shown are Chippewa model 71418 “Hi Shine” engineer boots.
Boots on left have stock smooth nitrile soles as they come from the manufacturer.
Second-from-left have Vibram 100 lug soles added on top of a standard sole.
Third and fourth pairs have had the standard stock sole removed and replaced with a Vibram 100 lug sole.
The sole replacement work was done by a cobbler — it is not an option offered by the manufacturer.
