I set off for a trip of a lifetime. While I have been to Western Canada before, my trips there have been for work. In-and-out.
This time, I am going on a photo adventure.
My trip begins in Vancouver, then I will …
… board a train to ride through Kamloops to arrive in the town of Jasper in the Rockies.
I have hired a professional photographer tour guide to take me on two adventures in the wilds of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Then I will make my way to Lake Louise, one of the most scenic areas in Canada. I have also hired another pro to take me on a sunrise photo tour.
Three days in Lake Louise will see me really put my great camera (a real one, not a sillyphone) to use.
From Lake Louise, I will go to Banff where the same pro photographer will take me on yet another sunrise photo tour.
Three days in Banff National Park will find me exploring quite a bit.
I will end my tour in Calgary. A buddy will meet me there and we’ll attend two days and one night to watch the Calgary Stampede! Oh yeah! Gimme some cowboys!
Unless I get swept outta my Ariat boots (winner of the “boot dilemma” contest) by a hot Calgary Cowboy, I guess I will return to my home in Maryland two weeks hence.
I look forward to processing zillions of photos and enjoy the results of my work.
Life is short: live forward with grace and persistence!
