I had an uneventful, though long, return home from my recent business trip to the Caribbean on Friday. I spent the day on Saturday catching up. <\/p>\n
So here’s what my lifestyle dictated that I do to catch up…

\nI awoke at the usual very early oh-dark-30, laced on my Chippewa Hikers, and went for a walk with my octogenarian sr. pal who inspires me to walk farther, walk briskly, and keep going….<\/p>\n
Home by 0730, I showered, then snuggled with my spouse for a little while.<\/p>\n
I got dressed and pulled on a pair of comfy old Tony Lama cowboy boots. I prepared my spouse a nice breakfast, then after that, caught up on the laundry that I brought home with me. I also worked on the computer paying bills and monitoring household accounts.<\/p>\n
By 1100, my spouse and I picked up three lovely ladies and took them grocery shopping. It’s always an adventure!<\/p>\n
Home by 1230 for a quick lunch, then I (alone) picked up four more lovely sr. pals for yet another adventure in the grocery stores. The fun never stops!<\/p>\n
Home by 1430, I grabbed my tool box and went to another sr. pal’s home to fix a few things. I also changed boots to Justin work boots… just because. Mostly, my senior friend just wanted company, but at the end of my visit, she also had some re-wired lighting and a “less sloping” countertop.<\/p>\n
Home again by 1630, I undressed and undressed my spouse…<\/p>\n
… and we soaked in our hot tub. Just to relax, and again — catch up.<\/p>\n
By 1730, I pulled on shorts, t-shirt (it was hot) and padded around barefooted like they do in the Caribbean. I grilled steaks and prepared a light salad and my spouse’s favorite: mashed potatoes.<\/p>\n
After dinner, my spouse and I had a long conversation with his mother on the phone. We’ll have to go up there soon… she broke her new DVD player that we bought her. Cripes.<\/p>\n
Then my spouse and I settled into each other’s arms and watched some TV. I just zoned out, and fell asleep in his arms. I was snoring by 2000. <\/p>\n
My spouse just held me, then gently woke me to bring us to bed by 2100. Nighty-night!<\/p>\n
