I wear boots every day — to work, at home, in the community. Here are the boots that I wore during the past week:

\nSunday 25 May<\/u><\/p>\n

\"Chipfire202\"Exceptionally pleasant day for a drive — back home from Pittsburgh where I was taking care of my mother-in-law. I wore the same boots that I wore up there — my Chippewa Firefighters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Arrived home in the early afternoon. Changed to Timberland Work Boots<\/a> and mowed the lawn.<\/p>\n

\"Justinbluetan05\"After the fun of lawn mowing was over, I showered, then pulled on an old pair of Justin cowboy boots<\/a> with denim jeans and a t-shirt. Ran some errands. Then prepared dinner for my spouse and brother — barbequed steak, roast potatoes, vegetables, and enjoyed a “just us family” dinner on our larger deck. It was a great night.<\/p>\n

To bed early at 2015; I was pooped.<\/p>\n

Monday 26 May<\/u><\/p>\n

Memorial Day holiday in the U.S. meant not having to go to work. I laced on my Chippewa hiking boots<\/a> and went for a long walk with my twin brother and my senior walking pal.<\/p>\n

\"Bouletblack16\"Shower and change… casual Boulet harness boots<\/a> with jeans. I lent my brother my truck and he went to visit some of our family. I hopped my Harley and ran some errands. Boots. Jeans. Long-sleeved shirt.<\/p>\n

By noon, we were back together again. Enjoyed a farewell lunch with my brother and spouse. Then I regretfully loaded my brother’s small bag into my truck and drove him to the airport so he could catch a return flight to Italy. I will miss him tremendously. A dopo, mio fratello<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Returned home by 1800 with a very heavy heart. Prepared dinner for my spouse. I didn’t have much of an appetite. After dinner, I helped my spouse to bathe and then we called it a night by 2000.<\/p>\n

Tuesday May 27<\/u><\/p>\n

\"Chipharness10\"Back to work after three days off. I rode the Harley, wearing black Chippewa harness boots<\/a>, blue slacks, blue shirt, blue tie. Meetings. Many meetings.<\/p>\n

Home at 1545. Chucked the dress clothes and pulled on jeans, t-shirt, and a pair of Justin cowboy boots<\/a>. Fed the tadpoles, then fed the spouse (smile.)<\/p>\n

Stayed home to look after my spouse. To bed by 2030.<\/p>\n

Wednesday May 28<\/u><\/p>\n

\"DPbrownostrichleg10\"Storms in the forecast meant no Harley today. Wore Dan Post brown osrich leg cowboy boots<\/a> with khakis, green shirt, no tie. Only one meeting. Busy day catching up on lots of stuff and collaborating side-by-side with my boss.<\/p>\n

Home by 1545. Raining. Glad I drove the truck. Changed to shorts, t-shirt, and just socks. Prepared dinner for my spouse then got busy with work for my professional association via my computer until bedtime at the usual 2030.<\/p>\n

Thursday May 29<\/u><\/p>\n

\"Lucanthracite02\"Wet, cold, foggy, crappy weather. I wore navy slacks, grey shirt, grey Lucchese ostrich cowboy boots<\/a>, no tie. Busy day though leading a huge webinar. <\/p>\n

Home by 1600. Changed to leather jeans, smooth-soled Chippewa firefighter boots<\/a>, black long-sleeve shirt. <\/p>\n

After preparing an early dinner, I made sure my spouse was okay, then went to a meeting at my local fire department. <\/p>\n

Home by 2015, and to bed by 2030.<\/p>\n

Friday 30 May<\/u><\/p>\n

\"Nocostrich08\"Still very wet and foggy in the morning, so once again, it was not a Harley-to-work day. However, it was dress-down Friday and it was just my boss, two of my staff, and me in the office today. I wore clean blue denim jeans, blue chambray shirt, no tie, and Nocona brown ostrich inlay cowboy boots<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Had an excellent catch-up day. Got a lot done and cleared off my desk! It is amazing how much paper builds up in today’s electronic world. I filed some of it that I had to keep, but otherwise almost filled up a recycling bin. Man, it’s nice to see what the top of my desk looks like! Home by 1545.<\/p>\n

\"Olathebrown01\"Changed boots to brown Olathe buckaroo boots<\/a>. They appeared lonely in my boot closet.<\/p>\n

I did chores around the house, then prepared dinner for my spouse. Assured he was okay, I changed clothes again. Leather jeans, Chippewa Firefighter boots<\/a> and rode the Harley to my niece’s house for the regular Friday night family dinner. Great to see everyone again (about 40 siblings, nieces, nephews, “the greats” and some close family friends.)<\/p>\n

Got back home by 2045, and to bed by 2100.<\/p>\n

Saturday 31 May<\/u><\/p>\n

\"Chiphiker02\"As I like to do, I will lace on my Chippewa hikers<\/a> and go for a six-mile walk with my senior walking pal. I’ll be home by 0700. <\/p>\n

Shower then change to… <\/p>\n

… not sure. This was posted before my Saturday really got going. Check back next week for the ongoing discourse … my life in boots.<\/p>\n
