This has been a winter that won’t quit. It has been trying to quit, but refuses to do so.<\/p>\n
Three weeks ago, 60F (15.5C). I rode my Harley<\/a>. Followed by 12 inches (30cm) of snow a few days later. Then one week ago, 62F (16C). I rode my Harley<\/a>. It remained pleasant enough so that I could ride my Harley to work<\/a> for two more days. Followed by the coldest windiest day this entire winter with wind speeds in excess of 50mph (80kph) with air temps at 10F (-12C) making the wind chill (“feels like”) temperature at -12F (-17C).<\/p>\n Then yesterday, it reached a balmy 65F (18C)! What did I do? G&XW$NMD!!<\/p>\n So off to the grocery store I went (actually, my usual Saturday routine) with 12 lovely LOLITS. When I got home from those three trips, I prepared lunch for my spouse, then headed out again. Bought gas for the snowblower.<\/p>\n It was so nice out, weather-wise! I was very tempted to hop on the Harley and take a ride, but I gazed into the face of my spouse and saw what I love about him… his soft, gentle brown eyes and his intelligence behind that. He was having a good day, health-wise. So I suggested, “lets sit by our backyard pond and enjoy the weather.”<\/p>\n That we did… three hours of conversation about anything and everything with my best friend. And not one word about the weather.
