I have had someone from Pennsylvania communicate with me about his passion for wearing cowboy boots with extremely high heels. My thoughts about high-heeled cowboy boots?

\n… sorry, not for me. I am such a damn klutz that I have barely managed to be able to wear cowboy boots with the usual 1-1\/2 inch (3.8cm) heels on them. <\/p>\n

\"Lucmidbrown09\"I have a few pairs of boots with higher heels than that — the highest being 2-1\/2 inches (6.4cm). Boots with heels that high look<\/em> interesting, but I have never been able to adjust to them. My feet get tired much more quickly and I grow tired of constantly having to think about each step I take, especially on stairs where catching a heel means a tumble on a hard surface. Yep, I definitely do not have any gracefulness. Never have, never will.<\/p>\n

Also, most men who wear boots choose traditional heel heights for reasons that I do and have described above, as well as to remain within norms for men’s boots. <\/p>\n

\"Lucanthracite02\"The guy who has written several comments for posting on this blog has expressed enthusiasm for cowboy boot heel heights of 5-1\/2 to 6 inches (15cm), which I cannot imagine. I have chosen not to post his comments because he has provided at least three different screen names and email addresses, so it makes me wonder what his motives are. Is this guy for real or just playing with me? While his IP address is consistent, his changes of screen names and email addresses makes me uncomfortable.<\/p>\n

Word to the wise: if you wish to comment, feel free. I read all comments before deciding to post them. If I sense someone trying to play games, I will not post the comment. I will post comments that add to discussion or provide information, even if I may disagree. But this blog is really not a discussion forum. Also, I will not post comments that include an embedded link, ever. 99% of embedded links go to sites that try to introduce malware, spyware, or viruses. Trust me, if there is a link on this blog, I have visited it myself and made sure that it is free of any problems.<\/p>\n

\"Lucpythonthumb\"Back to the topic — high-heeled cowboy boots? Sorry, not for me. I don’t find boots with high heels for any gender to be attractive. That’s among the reasons why I do not like most women’s boots. I don’t like the design and fashion orientation over function. But that’s just me — a guy who likes boots for functional purposes.<\/p>\n

If you like higher heels on boots, more power to you. I commend your courage to step out in boots that become obvious to others that there’s something going on with the boots. For me, I don’t go there … once a non-graceful klutz, always a non-graceful klutz.<\/p>\n
