Interestingly, it has been viewed more than 40 times in the last week.  I do not know why, but for some reason, many visitors from Germany are looking this up.<\/p>\n<p>I read and re-read what I wrote, and you know what?   It is all still very true with what is in my heart, and what composes my soul:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">\n<li>I believe in service to others.<\/li>\n<li>I believe in caring for my neighbor.<\/li>\n<li>I believe in doing.  Not just sitting and watching, but <i>doing<\/i>.<\/li>\n<li>I believe in being patient until things happen, and nudge &#8217;em along when needed.<\/li>\n<li>I believe that a smile is the best gift to give to others.<\/li>\n<li>I believe that life is full of surprises and without them, life would be awfully dull.<\/li>\n<li>I believe in holding friends close, and family closer.<\/li>\n<li>I believe in my partner, wholeheartedly, without reservation or equivocation.<\/li>\n<li>I believe that joy comes to those who share joy.<\/li>\n<li>I believe in Santa.  Well, in his magic, his spirit, and his love.<\/li>\n<li>And yeah, I believe in love.  Love is the only thing you get back more of the more you give it away.<\/li>\n<li>I believe that God loves all of us, including us gay guys as well as the homophobes. God loves all &#8212; it is religion that causes separatism and some people to display hatred, which is what God teaches us is a sin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I believe and I act.  How do you display your passions, concerns, and caring?<\/p>\n<p>Life is short:  believe in something and show you care.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote a post on this blog on December 24, 2008.
