\"Lucclassicbrown03\"I continued to wear a different pair from boots in my cowboy boot collection<\/a> and my motorcycle boot collection<\/a>. This past week was a real mix of boots on my feet, as we began the week with a huge but non-accumulating snowstorm, and ended the week with cool but “becoming Spring” weather.<\/p>\n

Here goes — these are the boots I wore to work this past week.
\nNote: all photos are from my photo collection on my computer, and were not taken at work with the clothes I was wearing.<\/em><\/p>\n

Monday, 25 March<\/u><\/strong>
\nWeather: Snowing like crazy, but the pavement was warm so it did not stick. Boots: Black Frye campus boots with lug soles<\/a> with a pair of black denim jeans, blue shirt, no tie. I got these boots from a cousin who did not like them. I had lug soles added to them so I possibly could wear them when I ride my motorcycle. Turns out, these boots look good with dress clothes and still give me traction when I need it when I walk on slick pavement. Anyone say anything about the boots? Nope — but the only other person who made it to work besides me was my boss.\"Fryeblackcampuslug04\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tuesday, 26 March<\/u><\/strong>
\nWeather: damp sidewalks, but no accumulated snow. Cold. Boots: black Dan Post regular dress cowboy boots<\/a> with a blue shirt, navy khakis, no tie. These boots have been worn enough that their soles are scuffed enough so they would not slip on damp pavement. I wore these boots in tribute and solidarity with my new friend Jeff, who decided to wear boots to work in his professional office<\/a> as a result of stumbling on this blog.\"DPblackdress05\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Wednesday, 27 March<\/u><\/strong>
\nWeather: cool, dry, and sunny. Boots: Smooth soled firefighter boots<\/a>. Yeah, wooops, I wore a pair of boots a second time during this attempt to wear different pairs of boots every day. Why did I break my own rule? I was invited to lunch at a local fire station, and I wanted to wear the boots I was given by firefighters. Very good-looking boots, and they WERE noticed!\"FF2024208\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Thursday, 28 March<\/u><\/strong>
\nWeather: cold, windy, sunny. Boots: Lucchese Classic Cowboy Boots–Camel<\/a> — or at least that is the color that Lucchese calls this very light tan leather. I wore them with dark tan khakis, green shirt, no tie. Very comfortable and good-looking boots; their comfort was important as I had a lot of walking to do from building to building on the campus of my employer’s workplace. Anyone say anything about the boots? No… sigh… as usual. All were much more interested in what I had to say than what I was wearing.\"Luccamel08\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Friday, 29 March<\/u><\/strong>
\nWeather: cold but warming, still windy, cloudy. Boots: Lucchese Classic cowboy boots–cognac<\/a> with navy blue denim jeans, agency logowear bright blue shirt, no tie. These boots look great with jeans, and are very comfortable. The contrast of traditional cognac boots stands out beautifully, but once again, no one noticed or if they did, did not say anything. Considering that this was Good Friday, most people took off and there were far fewer people in the office.\"Lucclassic\"<\/a><\/p>\n
