It was delightful &#8230; and not too crowded.  Most of the tourists coming to see the trees in DC go to the Tidal Basin, and don&#8217;t know that there are cherry trees in other places in the city that are just as gorgeous.<\/p>\n<p>I generally avoid going to tourist places in DC during peak tourist season, which has started in earnest.  However, I work in the city and there are so many things that are nice to see during Spring that I still try to get out to see them.
