However, it was time to come back to my home in Maryland. My return flights were delayed but made it, so I have no complaints.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is a hell of a lot warmer on the mainland than in Puerto Rico!  <\/p>\n<p>I have caught up on lost sleep, and today I pulled on a favorite pair of motorcycle boots &#8212; Chippewa Harness &#8212; and before it got too hot, I&#8230;<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.bootedmanblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Ride202205.jpg?resize=300%2C260&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"260\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-16711\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.bootedmanblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Ride202205.jpg?resize=300%2C260&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.bootedmanblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Ride202205.jpg?resize=150%2C130&amp;ssl=1 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.bootedmanblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Ride202205.jpg?resize=347%2C300&amp;ssl=1 347w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.bootedmanblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Ride202205.jpg?w=462&amp;ssl=1 462w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>&#8230; threw my leg over the saddle of my Harley and went for a ride.  <\/p>\n<p>Where?<\/p>\n<p>Nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>Precisely.<\/p>\n<p>Just a ride.  Before it got too blasted hot.<\/p>\n<p>Out at 6am, back by 8. But for those two hours, it was blissfully free. That is until I got closer to home and had to endure &#8220;rush-hour&#8221; traffic. Uggghhh&#8230; I am so glad I do not have to deal with <em>that<\/em> any more!<\/p>\n<p>Life is short: wear boots when you ride, no matter how hot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had a great time on my favorite island.
