He is usually in so much pain from damage caused to his joints from his three-year hell of illness and fatigued by the lingering sleep disorder that the illness left behind, he does not want to, or have the energy to, do anything. Anywhere. At any time.<\/p>\n

So imagine my delight when we had one of those rare happy and joyful moments for an outing. Last Saturday, my spouse and I got into my truck and we drove…

\n…to a huge field of sunflowers to view the spectacle. We also went last year and enjoyed it<\/a> so much that we wanted to go back.<\/p>\n

This year, the flowers were not nearly as tall or as plentiful as last year. I think the growing season in our geographic area was delayed significantly by a very cool Spring this year. It really didn’t warm up around here until late May, while usually we have summertime temperatures no later than mid-May.<\/p>\n

Anyway, my spouse was feeling fairly good considering his general overall condition, so here we are, sunny spouses:\"Sunnyme2\"\"Sunnyspouse\"<\/p>\n
