It was a hoot (for me) to tweak the nose of some local elected officials who I think have gone way too overboard with this stuff.<\/p>\n<p>Happy Bike To Work Day!<\/p>\n<p>Life is short:  ride a <strong>real bike<\/strong> to work with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bootedman.com\/cycle\/\" target=\"_blank\">motorcycle boots<\/a> and proper gear!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, May 20, was &#8220;Bike To Work Day&#8221; in the DC area.
