Finally… after 10 straight days of rain, we had a break with a bright sunshiny, pleasant day on Sunday May 8 to enjoy Law Ride 2016 in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n

I met some buddies and rode with them to the staging area…

\n…where we waited for the ride to take off.<\/p>\n

As has happened on this ride each year for the past 10 on which I have joined it<\/a>, there were fewer motorcycle officers riding on this ride than ever before — just three agencies.<\/p>\n

What did I wear? Leather breeches and Chippewa Hi-Shine engineer boots<\/a> with added Vibram 100 lug soles.<\/p>\n
