She really is doing well, all things considered. <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_yytsDp42pSs\/TSEKwSqLv6I\/AAAAAAAACto\/GRK0HmFSDzk\/s1600\/Resolution.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_yytsDp42pSs\/TSEKwSqLv6I\/AAAAAAAACto\/GRK0HmFSDzk\/s320\/Resolution.jpg?resize=252%2C320\" width=\"252\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;\">She turned age 96 yesterday.&nbsp; We celebrated her birthday with cake, ice cream, funny hats, and noisemakers.&nbsp; A couple elected officials who serve in our state General Assembly came over to share the festivities with us.&nbsp; They presented her with a House Resolution recognizing her birthday.&nbsp; That was sweet, and much appreciated.&nbsp; (Not thinking these Delegates may wish to have their images appear on this blog, I cropped them out.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;\">A few of my senior pals came over and sung <i>A Capella<\/i> in perfect pitch and harmony one of my aunt&#8217;s favorite songs, as well as &#8220;Happy Birthday.&#8221; <\/span><\/p>\n<p>I share joy, contentment, and happiness in knowing that my aunt is doing well, has good care, and is safe in her own home.&nbsp; That&#8217;s what <a href=\"http:\/\/bootedharleydude.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/count-your-blessings.html\">I promised to her husband, my Uncle Charlie<\/a>, and am pleased to fulfill my promise by doing what I do.&nbsp;
