I realized I posted in 2023 about wearing boots with suits. This choice of clothing is a preferred choice often for me.
Some style queens you find on the internet write reviews that are not accepting that some of us prefer to wear boots with suits and good-looking dress cowboy boots can make a man stand out from the crowd of dress shoe wearing suited men.
Don’t misunderstand, I like dress shoes too, and wear them with my suits as well.
But… being a Bootman from way back, I enjoy…
… wearing dress cowboy boots with my suits.
I can not wear boots with some of my suits. For example, my blue Brooks Brothers Sharkskin suit was tailored to have tapered legs and short hems. That style makes a guy’s dress shoes stand out. But I can’t pull the trouser legs over my boots because the tapered hems are too small in circumference to go over my boots.
Most other suits I own don’t have that issue, in particular my “workhorse” Brooks Brothers Navy Suit and my newest custom-made bespoke suit.
Lately, I have been updating my website, particularly the dress boots section to show dress cowboy boots with a suit. Here are a few recent examples:
Check out this updated page for more boots and suits pics.
Life is short: wear whatever you like with a suit. (Who gives a damn? Ignore the queens who make snarky comments.)
